Moving in

On the day of arrival you can sign your tenancy agreement for your room and collect your key at the TROTS office. You must also pay the first month’s rent and the non-recurring costs. The payment can be made with your pin- money- or credit card.

When signing your tenancy agreement you also receive extra information about your stay. For example the General Terms and Rules and Regulations. In your room you find a ‘welcome to your room’ letter with the request to check the inventory of your accommodation. When you are not satisfied with the state of your accommodation or inventory, please contact the caretaker, his contact information is on the letter. When no report is made, we will assume you have approved of the state of your accommodation and inventory.

All rooms are furnished with a bed, mattress, desk, desk chair, drawer unit, wardrobe, curtains or sun screens. These items are part of the inventory and must remain in the room when you vacate the room. In your room you will also find a linen package which costs you € 35, containing a duvet, duvet cover, pillow, pillowcase and mattress sheet. If you buy the linen package, these items are your property, you can take them with you when you leave.

Internet connection
Your room has a connection to the network of Wageningen UR. It is a service that is provided free of charge; no monthly fees. For more information see Internet connection.

You have to take care of your own insurance, for example medical insurance, third-party liability, fire and theft insurance. TROTS can not be held responsible for damage to your property.
